About Section
The Manufacturing Management Technology (MMT) section works on developing the next generation of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and processes, as well as improving manufacturing systems, organisation and sustainability. MMT section offers a degree in Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Manufacturing Systems, Bachelor of Technology Management (BTM) and Bachelor of Project Management (BOPM). Besides that, the department also offers programs at the Master's and PhD levels in Manufacturing.
MMT has a wide range of research facilities available such as 5-axis CNC milling machines, CNC turning machines, EDM wire cut machines, materials testing facilities for tensile, compression, micro hardness as well as surface roughness measurement machine. Computer labs also provides wide range of CAD and CAM softwares such as SolidWorks and Mastercam that relates to industry applications around the world.
