About Section

Railway System Technology (RST) section comprises programmes that reflect the realities of modern railway environment where industrialization and technological innovation intertwined with daily life.  Currently RST section comprises of Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons.) in Railway System and Diploma of Engineering Technology (Hons.) in Railway System. The programme combine a firm grounding in the principles of railway engineering management with an understanding of the essential industrial concern of that any continuous improvement process or innovation must contribute towards an improvement in productivity. Students will also acquire the skills and competencies necessary to manage a business in an Engineering or Technology related field within the duration of the programme.

RST section has a wide range of industry collaborations and real industry facilities to accomodate teaching and learning for the students to pursue job careers in rail industry.
