About Section
The Design Engineering Technology (DET) section works on developing the next generation of cutting-edge design technologies and processes, as well as improving design engineering systems, organisation and sustainability.
Program Offered
DET section offers a degree in Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Manufacturing Systems and Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Precision Engineering. Besides that, the department also offers programs at the Master’s and PhD levels in Manufacturing.

Facilities & Equipment
DET has a wide range of research facilities available such as 5-axis CNC milling machines, CNC turning machines, EDM wire cut machines, materials testing facilities for tensile, compression, micro hardness as well as surface roughness measurement machine.
