About Section
The Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET) section works on developing the next generation of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and processes, as well as improving manufacturing systems, organisation and sustainability.
Program Offered
MET section offers a degree in Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Manufacturing Systems and Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Precision Engineering. Besides that, the department also offers programs at the Master’s and PhD levels in Manufacturing.

Facilities & Equipment
MET has a wide range of research facilities available such as 5-axis CNC milling machines, CNC turning machines, EDM wire cut machines, materials testing facilities for tensile, compression, micro hardness as well as surface roughness measurement machine.
